I moved to San Francisco early 1997 to work as a 3D Animator with Industrial Light & Magic and soon found a huge scooter scene here in the Bay Area.

Once settled in my new home I bought a 1979 P200 and after 18 months of fun my wife Meena and I decided to make a bold move and sell the P200 and buy the scooter I've always wanted, a MkII GS160.

After 6 months of searching I found just what I was looking for via 'scoot66.com' in Germany. They had a GS160 MkII just in from Italy and could paint it the deep black I wanted. The process was relatively painless and is covered in the purchase & shipping section. The bike was imported to the U.S. in the summer of 2002 and we love it!
